If you have life insurance and/or critical illness policies, chances are they represent fairly significant monthly expenditure. However, once you’ve taken out the policy, your insurance company has no incentive to give you their best possible deals. Why would they risk losing income?
In fact, far from helping, they tend to make it as difficult as possible to lower your payments with confusing products, opaque terms and any number of hoops you need to jump through in order to switch.
On your side
We don't think this is how it should be. We believe in fair-play and competition. Having previously worked for a number of years in the financial services and financial advice business for large corporations like Abbey, HSBC and Royal Bank of Scotland, we wanted to create a proactive service that works on your behalf to advise on life insurance and, where appropriate, manages the process of switching life insurance cover to save you money.
So we started Life Monitor to shake things up a bit. We built a computer programme that enables us to compare your specific policy(s) against all those available at any time. This runs every day and means we can always identify if there’s a better deal on offer that will save you money.
Independent and impartial
The company is owned by the management team and some private investors, so we are completely independent and impartial – with no ties to any of the insurance companies from whom we source life and critical illness policies for you.
We’ve grown steadily by word-of-mouth to the point where we now feel it’s time to expand and make the service more widely available.
So, we invite you to call us, tell us about your life insurance, what you like and hate about it, and whether you'd like to save some money, now and/or in the future. We look forward to you putting us to test.
